Grace and Mercy

There is one thing you will hear me say over and over again: “God, I thank you for your grace and mercy.”

God has been so good to me – better than i have been to be myself. There have been moments in my life where i didn’t deserve His kindness, His patience, or His protection, but He gave it anyway. That’s the beautiful thing about grace and mercy. Grace gives us what we do not deserve, and mercy keeps us from what we do deserve.

When I look back over my life, i can honestly say that if it had not been for His grace and His mercy, I don’t know where I would be today. But one thing I do know is that I am exactly where I need to be. Not because I did everything right, but because God kept His hands on my life.

I am also grateful that God gave me a mind that wants to serve Him and live right. in a world that pulls us in so many different directions, having a desire to follow Him is a blessing all by itself.

His grace kept me. His mercy covered me. And for that, I will always give Him praise.

Lamentations 3:22-23 – ” Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
