Making Heaven Crowded
Have you ever wondered what your purpose here on Earth or in life is? We all have a purpose but what is the goal. I believe the ultimate goal is to save souls and draw people to Christ.
My church has a theme for this year and it is Being and Undeniable Light. What does that mean? Light represents truth, goodness, and the presence of God. Matthew 5:14-16 says that believers are called to be a light in a dark world. Our lives should shine so people can see God through us. As believers we carry a light that others need to see. Your light can be your faith, peace, wisdom, kindness, strength, and so on.
The world today is in a turmoil. We have a war that is going on over seas but we also have a war that is going on within ourselves. It is our job as believers to let our light shine and bring souls to Christ. Matthew 28:19-20 says, ” Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.”
Living a life that reflects God.
People watch how we handle stress, work, family, and conflict. When you show patience, kindness, and peace, it points people to God. Your character can preach before your mouth ever does. 💡
Sharing The Word of God.
If you read your Bible, you get to know God and Jesus for yourself but for those who do not read your Bible, it is our job to tell them about what they are missing. Growing up I did not read my Bible but i knew scripture. That is good and all, but you have to read more than just a scripture to get the context behind it. As I got older and started reading my Bible, I began to understand what certain scriptures meant and not what I thought they meant. I now see on social media that we have people who are creating videos and statuses and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. That warms my heart because we are called and it doesn’t matter how old or young you are. Everyone can spread the gospel. As my pastor says, everyone may not be a preacher or teacher, but everyone is a reacher.
Our purpose here is to teach people about Jesus. This means living and sharing your faith in a way that helps others come to know God so that heaven is full of people who chose Him.
