I Finally Said Yes To God
During COVID, the world felt like it was falling apart. Everything was shutting down, schools closed, businesses closed, and we were living through something we had only ever read about in history books. It was hard to believe it was happening in our lifetime.
In the middle of all that uncertainty, I kept feeling God tugging at me, telling me to open my Bible, to read, and to truly understand His Word for myself. I would encourage others to do it, but truthfully, I wasn’t doing it consistently myself.
That didn’t change until last year.
And when I finally committed, everything shifted.
Jeremiah 29:13 – “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
God has been so good to me. He’s given me a deeper understanding, wisdom, and a desire to reach others in a real way. This blog has been on my heart for a long time, but I kept putting it off, worrying about the design, the name, what to write, and whether I even had the time.
But now, it’s finally here.
And I’m so grateful to share this journey with you.
This blog isn’t perfect, and neither am I. But as I continue to grow in Christ and as a woman, my prayer is that something shared here will help someone else who is trying to find their way, just like I am. If you’re in a season where God is calling you closer, I encourage you to answer. You don’t have to be perfect; you just have to be willing.
God, thank you for your grace and patience with us. Help us to seek you, not just with our words but with our actions. Give us the desire to know you more and the discipline to stay in your Word. In Jesus name, Amen.
Reflection Questions:
- Have you been putting off spending time with God?
- What is God calling you to do that you’ve been delaying?
- When was the last time you truly opened your Bible with intention?
Still growing. Still Trusting. Still His
